This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile app MoviePedia (the "App"), created by Leonardo Buleje (the "Developer"), handles user information. The App is a movie guide. You can use it to explore movies, see details, watch trailers, and save favorites.

1. Information we do NOT collect

The App works without collecting personal data. This means:

• You do not need to register or create an account.
• The App does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any other personal information.
• The App does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or files.
• The App does not use analytics or advertising services.
• The App does not sell, share, or send user information to third parties.

2. Information stored on your device

The list of movies you mark as favorites is saved only in a local database on your device. This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to any server of the Developer. It is deleted completely when you uninstall the App or when you clear the App data in your system settings.

3. Third-party services

To show its content, the App connects to the internet and uses the following third-party services. These services may process technical data (like your IP address) under their own privacy policies:

• The Movie Database (TMDB): provides the movie information, images, ratings, and descriptions. You can read their policy at themoviedb.org/privacy-policy. This App uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
• YouTube (Google): is used to play movie trailers inside the App. Playback follows the Google privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

The Developer does not control these third parties and is not responsible for how they process data.

4. App permissions

The App asks for only one permission: internet access. It needs this to download movie information and images, and to play trailers. The App does not ask for any other system permission.

5. Children's privacy

The App does not collect personal data from any user, including children under 13. Because no data is collected, no information about children is processed.

6. Security

All communication between the App and third-party services uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Because the App does not collect personal data, there is no risk that the Developer can leak your personal information.

7. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time, for example when new features are added to the App. Changes will be published on this page, and the "Last updated" date will change. Please check this page from time to time.
